BBS alloy wheels came into existence around 1972 after a German manufacturing company decided to move into wheels after a couple of years of producing  plastic parts for the automobile industry. They began by designing 3 piece wheels for the racing industry. It took some time of course to perfect their wheels and it didn’t just happen overnight. Once they did finally get it perfected however, they began producing them for use on the open road.

So popular did these wheels become that you might say they actually flew off the shelves when they hit the market. One thing led to another and we are where we are today with wheel manufacturers. This means of course, that like many others, BBS alloy wheels offers the end user a handful of designs and colors to choose from when buying aftermarket wheels for their cars.
The alloy wheels as most people know help to improve automobile performance in a number of different ways. The wheels literally hug the road when you are taking turns, and it also doesn’t hurt that you will see a marked improvement in fuel economy among other things. The open design of the wheels also helps with the dissipation of heat that is generated when applying your brakes to stop or slow the car down. Finally, to ensure that the BBS alloy wheels are of the highest quality, they undergo a forging process that is elaborate and intense to make sure the material used in each wheel is dense and strong.

A five bolt one piece siver wheel with a polished finish available in two sizes which are 20″x10″ and 22″x10.5″ and features five  broad spokes with a twist design.

AIR II CK

A two piece wheel available in titanium silver or ball polished finish featureing a fourteen spoke design in which the thin spokes are paired together. Available in these sizes  18″x8″, 18″x8.5″, 18″x9″, 18″x9.5″, 19″x8″, 19″x8.5″, 19″x9.5″ and 19″x10″.

AIR II CY

This is a two piece wheel in a Black finish with a diamond cut face and has a eight Y shaped spoke design and comes in the following sizes  19″x8.5″, 19″x9.5″ and 19′x10″.

RR

This is a two piece wheel in a Black finish with a diamond cut face and has a Ten Y shaped spoke design with a recessed hub and comes in the following sizes 18″x8″, 18″x8.5″, 18″x9″,  18″x9.5″.

RS-GT

This is a two piece forged wheel with Titanium bolts available in these sizes 18″x8.5″, 18″x9.5″, 19″x8.5″, 19″x9.5″, 19″x10″, 20″x8.5″, 20″x9.5″  and 20″x10″. It features eight thin Y shaped spokes with a brilliant silver finish.

LM

This is a two piece forged wheel with Titanium bolts available in these sizes 18″x8.5″, 18″x9″, 18″x9.5″, 18″x10″, 18″X11″, 19″x8.5″, 19″x9.5″, 19″x10″, 19″X11″, 20″x8.5″ and 20″10.5″. It features Ten thin Y shaped spokes with a brilliant silver finish.

RX II

Diamond cut wheel featuring an Eight Y spoke design with recessed lug holes and Titanium bolts. Available in the following sizes 17″x8″, 18″x8.5″, 18″x10″, 19″x8.5″, 19″x9.5″, 21″x9″ and 21″x10.5″.

CM

This is a 1 piece black and diamond cut wheel with fourteen thin spokes and a concave styled hub. It is available in these sizes 18″x8″, 19″x8.5″ and 19″x9.5″.

CX-R

This wheel has a very distinctive cross spoke design with seven at the front an seven to the rear and comes in either Black or Anthracite with a diamond cut finish. Available sizes are 19″x8.5″, 19×9″.5″, 20″x8.5″, 20″x9″ and 20″x10″.

A One piece highly polished smooth styled wheel with seven twin spokes and available in the following sizes 17×7.5, 17×8.5, 18×8, 18×8.5, 19×8, 18×10, 19×10, 19×8.5, 19×9.5, 20×9 and 20×10.5.

CK

This one piece wheel features seven twin ribbed curved spokes and comes in two finisheswhich are brilliant silver or brilliant anthracite and in these sizes 18″x8″, 18″x8.5″, 19″x8″, 19″x8.5″, 20″x8.5″ and 20″x9.5″.
